Does your mood affect your food?

This is a very good question and one that can be argued for and against with a lot of good arguments from both sides. However, I am going to give you the answer that we, at Jasper & Bobbie, believe is right, and that is YES 1000%, your mood effects your food, and here are the reasons why we think that.

Every single “thing” on this planet is made up of elements, such as carbon, oxygen, zinc, iron, magnesium etc, and some “things” have more elements than others, for example the difference between a rock and a rabbit. Inside each one of these different elements are atoms made up of electrons, protons and neutrons. If you cast your mind back to chemistry class in school, you may remember that electrons vibrate at different frequencies. Quantum Physics is delving deep into this science now and it is fascinating how, and what, can change the frequencies and vibrations of electrons within the elements – and we love this kind of cosmic science here at Jasper & Bobbie.

Casting your mind back again to chemistry class in school, you will recall that there are sound frequencies and sound waves that you can’t see, but your ear drums can feel, and reverberate or respond accordingly. With this in mind, you could argue that if the electrons within your cells, deep within your body, are vibrating at a certain frequency, they could in fact impact the electrons in things external to you, and vice versa, similar to the vibrations of sound waves. Another example of how vibrations and frequency can be felt, and hence cause an effect on each other, is that ‘feeling’ you get when you walk into a room after an argument, and you can almost feel the tension in the air – the vibrations in that room are low, and your body not only feels it, but responds to it accordingly, by feeling hesitant or protective.

With this mind, imagine this in reverse. Imagine you are preparing a special meal for someone you love, or making your grandmothers classic biscuit recipe. Your mood is high, and you may be reminiscing about the love for, and from your grandmother, or be feeling joy, excitement, and gratitude for that special loved one as you prepare that meal.  It would make sense that raising your personal vibration, the elements, atoms, electrons, in the food you are preparing will respond to your energy, and they too will increase their vibrations. Will your food taste better? Will the nutrients be more readily available and of a higher quality? No one can be sure, however, there is good evidence to suggest that if your mood (vibration) can affect a room, then there is a good argument to suggest it can also affect your food, because, as mentioned above, food contains elements, (such as iron, magnesium etc) and they contain atoms and electrons, which vibrate too, and are also influenced by their environment. I am sure you are aware of the 1000’s of studies done where talking to plants with either a positive or negative attitude, has proven that the energy, or vibration, you direct at a plant effects it in a massive way.

We can also utilize studies done by Masaru Emoto. He proved that water can, in fact, change its physical structure simply by exposing it to various emotional energies and and musical vibrations. His work is fascinating and has been further studied by Veda Austin. If water can change its structure simply by the way you talk to it, then fruit, vegetables, meat etc., that contain water of some kind (ie hydrogen and oxygen elements), further support the theory that your mood DOES affect your food.

A great way to feel good, and lift your mood, is to step into that high vibing person when you cook and/or prepare your food.
